      Sunrise was at 05:13 Hrs. Clear skies and unlimited visibility. Some smoke!

     

FORECAST:

Ridging this am with sunny skies in a Southerly flow aloft. Will likely see some clouds later in the pm. The FL is above 3500 m. Dirty ridging for Tuesday with a mix of sun and cloud. Looks dry as of now! Low moving down the coast Wednesday, may bring periods of light precipitation for the pm. Model discrepancies so time will tell, would be nice to get some rain! Dirty ridge for Thursday with a mix of sun and cloud, may see an afternoon shower. Dirty ridging for Friday into Sunday with slightly warmer than seasonable temperatures. Guesstimates: 0 mm by Tuesday am, 0 mm by Wednesday am, 2-4 mm by Thursday am, 0-trace by Friday am, 0 mm by Saturday am, 0 mm by Sunday am. It has been very dry for the past 2 weeks.

      Clouds in the mix Tuesday! Many lows.


        Low moving down the coast Wednesday. Periods of light precipitation in the cards.


      Low pressure and onshore flow will bring some light precipitation Wednesday.



       Low backs off to the West Thursday, likely see an unsettled day. Showers possible.



       May see a shower on Thursday, mix of sun and cloud.



      High pressure returns for Friday with a mix of sun and cloud. Warmer temps.



      Looks dry with mostly sunny skies for Saturday. 


      High will bring mostly sunny skies for Sunday. Some cloud in the mix.


      INFORMATION AND OBSERVATIONS:

         Smoke aloft moving into Southern BC and into Washington State, July 1, 2023.


     Full moon setting in smoke Tuesday am.

      Smoke aloft may mix in at valley levels once there is daytime heating! AQHI at 3 in the pm Tues.


      Not as much smoke on Wednesday. AQHI still at 3 Wednesday at noon.


      Thursday the AQHI went up to 4 in the pm.

      Friday18:30 Hrs, cloudy with some upper level smoke.


      Saturday 18:30 Hrs. AQHI at 3.

      Sunday 06:00 Hrs. Smoke to the South. AQHI at 3.
