Multi layered cloud early Monday morning.

    Whistler later in the afternoon.

Looking South later in the afternoon.

    Some improvement Monday evening.

Stratus layer began creeping into the valley by 21:00 hours.

Weather Observations for May 26, 2015: taken at 05:00 Hours.

2180 meters      +4, Winds were 15-30 KPH from the S
1835 meters      +4, Winds were 0-5 KPH from the S
1650 meters      +5, No new snow, Base 58 cm, relative humidity is 100%
660 meters    +11, Valley Temp, Max Temp Yesterday was +14.3, 4.2 mm recorded on Mon.

As of 06:00 Hours we have a thick stratus cloud layer to 1900 meters and unlimited visibility.

For the forecast, mostly cloudy this morning as the surface ridge maintains moist low level onshore flow. The low to our Southeast is slowly moving away. We may see unsettled conditions later today as the stratus layer lifts with convective cloud development and the chance of some showers. Weaker onshore flow for Wednesday and a building high pressure over the Pacific will give us a mix of sun and cloud with warmer temperatures. Thursday through the weekend looks dry and warm with mostly sunny skies and some convective cloud development.

    Low pressure is quasi stationary.

   Low is slowly moving Eastward.

High pressure is starting to push into our area.

May still see some cloud for Wednesday but mostly warm sunny weather.

High pressure strengthens into the weekend.

We should see unsettled conditions by the afternoon.  The light moist Northwest flow will continue into Tuesday with isolated showers and the chance of thunder showers with convective build up in the afternoons. Unsettled conditions will continue through the week with Thursday now looking like the nicest day of the week as the low exits the area and the high pressure off shore begins to move our way.  The persistent blocking pattern continues to bring much uncertainty to more than a one day forecast.

Slow low moving into Washington State.

Low is moving very slowly away from our zone.

Still bringing mostly cloudy skies to our zone for today with some moisture.

    Low very moist this am.

Tuesday will also see cloud spinning in our direction.

Ridge of high pressure will have some influence by Thursday.

    Looking sunny for Thursday.
