    Sunday June 28, 2015--Started off as a nice day. + 27 recorded at 2180 meters at 08:00 hrs.

For the forecast, a weak low pressure system in a Westerly flow will move through the area today with a few breaks in the clouds. The air mass is slightly unstable and appears to be relatively dry. Slight chance of some dry lightning later this afternoon. There is still a chance of some isolated showers expected for today but it looks like a short lived high is developing.  A weakening trough will pass through Tuesday with unsettled conditions, mostly sunny Tuesday morning with some cloud development in the afternoon. We can expect slightly cooler temperatures for today into Tuesday but they will go back to the low 30's as the ridge rebuilds for Wednesday into the weekend with warm sunny conditions.


    Southerly flow last night will shift to Westerly this morning.

    Chance of some isolated showers today.

    Dry Tuesday as the trough moves East.

    Ridge begins to build Tuesday, strengthening Wednesday.

    Hot by Thursday.

    Low kept cloud in the area until Thursday evening when the high began to push North.

  660 meters      +10, Valley Temp, Max Temp Yesterday was +24.2.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have mostly clear skies with unlimited visibility.

    High pressure with stratus cloud along the coast this am.



For the forecast, a strong upper level ridge will build over Southern B.C., a weak thermal trough originating from the US Western central area will bring very warm temperatures to our area Saturday into Sunday. A short wave trough will push through the area on Sunday afternoon with the slight chance of some isolated showers in the evening. The remnants of the trough will disperse on Monday(unsettled conditions) as the ridge begins to rebuild into early next week. Tuesday into next Friday at this time look like warm sunny days. An amazing stretch of warm dry weather, remember to be careful as the fire danger will increase as the week progress. Update on next weeks weather on Monday.


    Westerly flow aloft as the ridge builds and strengthens into Saturday.

    Northerly low level onshore flow for Today.

    Ridge builds today into tomorrow with warm air moving in from the Southeast.

    Shift on Sunday with a shortwave trough moving onshore. Slight chance of precipitation in the eve.

    Monday will bring unsettled weather as the ridge flattens.

    High weakens slightly on Monday.

    High pressure rebuilds Tuesday and warmer temperatures prevail later into next week
