    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have broken cloud and unlimited visibility.


For the forecast, a mix of sun and cloud for today in a Southwest flow aloft. Will likely see some cumulus cloud development later today with the chance of a thunderstorm  High will rebuild for Tuesday into Thursday, with mostly sunny weather and warm temperatures. Unsettled Friday into the weekend with slightly cooler temperatures. Chance of some showers Friday and Saturday but time will tell!!

    May have some lingering cloud early Tuesday morning.

    High strengthens for Wednesday into Thursday.

    Looks good for Friday but there looks like potential for some cloud development into the weekend.

    Monday June 13, 2016. Rained hard at times, 4.4 mm recorded at 660 meters with a high of +13.4.

    We also had periods of unsettled weather on Monday as well.

    Unsettled early Tuesday, June 14, 2016. A dusting with -3 Degrees at 1835 meters.

    Some breaks on Tuesday, also some showers--1.1 mm recorded at 660 meters.

    High on Tuesday was +13 Deg later in the afternoon.

    Wednesday morning June 15, 2016. -2 Deg.

    Fresh dusting Wednesday morning. June-uary weather!!

    Overcast Wednesday morning, did become unsettled later in the day. High of +14.8 in the valley.

    Cumulus cloud development over the Tantalus Range on Wednesday. Isolated scattered showers.

    It was much nicer further South of Whistler by Wednesday afternoon.

    Awesome looking morning on Thursday, -3 at 2240 meters at 07:00 Hrs.

    Cloudy on Thursday but a high in the valley of 16.1 Deg. One perspective of the 1St and 18Th.

    Friday June 17, 2016--Unsettled in the morning--0 deg at 1835 meters at 07:00 Hrs.

    Less cloud later in the day on Friday. High of 21.1 Deg in the valley. Still fresh snow up high.

    Full moon will be on June 20Th, the summer solstice. This has not happened for 70 years!

    Saturday June 18, 2016 07:00 Hrs-- Clouds began to move into the zone. +5 Deg at 07:00 Hrs.

    Low to the South moving up the coast, looks very dark!!

    Nice Saturday morning, eventually it did rain later in the afternoon--7.2 mm recorded at 660 M.

    Sunday morning June 19, 2016--more snow, +2 at 1835 meters at 07:00 Hours.

    Fresh snow just below the tree line Sunday. Unsettled by the afternoon with a valley high of +17.9.


    Improvement later in the day on Sunday. We received 3.5 mm early Sunday morning at 660 M.

From Monday June 13--Monday June 20, 2016 we accumulated 16.2 mm of precipitation at the Nester's Weather Station, 660 Meters.

    As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have high scattered cloud and unlimited visibility.


For the forecast, a weak upper level low offshore and too our South will slowly bring us overcast conditions with the chance of some isolated showers by late this afternoon in a Southerly flow aloft. Cloud cover will increase as the day progresses in the mountains with some possible breaks later this evening. Would be nice to get a glimpse of the full moon!! Unsettled again for Tuesday before a trough brings overcast conditions and precipitation back to our zone for Wednesday into Thursday. As of now Friday is looking unsettled and a weak ridge beginning to build by Friday evening. Next weekend should see the ridge strengthen with dry weather expected into early next week.
