    Tuesday June 5, 2018. As of 07:00 Hrs at 1835 meters it was 0 Deg C.

    Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018.

    Thursday morning June 7, 2018. +4 Deg C.

    Friday June 8, 2018. Raining with limited visibility. 12.3 mm of precip recorded at 1650 meters.

    Saturday morning Juneuary 9, 2018. More fresh snow. -1 at 1835 meters.

    Sunday morning, Juneuary 11, 2018. -2 at 1835 meters.

    As of 07:00 hrs this am we have mostly overcast skies and variable visibility.



FORECAST:

The cold upper trough we have been experiencing will slowly exit the area this morning in a Northwesterly flow aloft. An offshore ridge will eventually bring some unsettled weather with sunny breaks and the FL reaching 2200 meters by this afternoon. Unsettled weather again for Tuesday with the possibility of some isolated rain showers in the afternoon. The low moves down the coast on Wednesday with another cold upper trough bringing periods of light rain and overcast skies. Thursday will be unsettled and we should see the FL begin to rise to around 2500 meters. Friday will slowly see an improvement with unsettled weather and the FL rising to around 3500 meters. An upper level ridge will build over the Pacific bringing warm sunny conditions into early next week.

    Clouds move in for Tuesday afternoon.


      Low will be sending moisture our way on Wednesday.


    Looking like periods of light rain for Wednesday. 3-5 mm in the Whistler area, possibly>.


     Unsettled for Thursday.


    High will be providing some influence.


    Still unsettled Friday.


    High strengthens Saturday and into early next week.



    INFORMATION & OBSERVATIONS:

    Monday morning at 2180 meters, 09:30 hrs fresh snow and a temperature of -3 Deg C.

    Monday morning eventually became unsettled, 11:00 hrs.

    Suspension Bridge construction is in full swing. Negative temperatures over the past few days.

    Tuesday was a cold day, at 14:00 hrs only +11 in the valley. A few showers in the morning.

    Park was busy at 20:00 Hrs on Wednesday.

    Wednesday just before sunset, Suspension Bridge is coming together.

    Clouds were moving in on Thursday morning.

    Emerald Chair being dismantled, Friday morning.

    There were some sunny breaks on Saturday.

    CDFL training.

    Sunday afternoon, snowing in the alpine.

    Same time frame Sunday with sunny breaks in the valley.

    As of 07:00 hrs this am we have broken cloud, variable visibility and raining lightly in the valley.


FORECAST:

A cold upper trough is pushing through our zone with unsettled weather in its wake by this afternoon. Today we can expect mostly cloudy weather with some sunny breaks in a Westerly flow aloft. The FL should top out at around 2100 meters by this afternoon.  A weak front is expected to arrive for tomorrow with overcast skies and periods of light precipitation. A weak ridge will bring unsettled weather for Wednesday into Thursday before another cold trough arrives for Thursday night into Friday with overcast skies and light to moderate precipitation. Next weekend will be mostly overcast with periods of precipitation and seasonable temperatures. Next weekend is a ways off but hopefully it will be unsettled with some sunny breaks.

    Wednesday morning 06:30 Hrs, -4 Deg C.

    Thursday afternoon, still dry. High of +17.5 in the valley.

    Friday morning, another dusting -2 Deg C at 07:00 hrs.

    Friday afternoon.

    Saturday morning, -1 at 07:00 Hrs. New Snow!!

    Great riding weather on Saturday! +12 at 12:00 hrs.

    Eventually it started raining on Sunday.
