    As of 07:00 hrs this am we have clear skies and unlimited visibility.


FORECAST:

The strong persistent upper ridge will continue to bring dry weather into the weekend. A weak Northerly flow aloft for today with the freezing level hovering in the 3700 meter zone with sunny skies. The ridge will slowly drift East during the week and flatten by Wednesday evening/Thursday likely bringing some high cloud to our zone. Ridge rebuilds for Friday into Saturday with more sunny weather. Weakens again on Sunday. As of now looks like we may see some precipitation by next Tuesday.

    High shifts to the East.

    Very warm at 1800 meters.

    Low pushes to the South.

         Some high cloud expected with the ridge weakening, still warm for this time of the year.

    High keeping the Low at bay.

    High weakens slightly, possible high cloud on Thursday.

    High shifts south along the coast and moves North inland.

    High pressure for Saturday.

    Low will likely begin to move South on Sunday.

FORECAST:

A Pacific frontal system will bring intermittent showers and periods of rain today in a Northwest flow aloft. The freezing level will hover in the 2500 meter zone for today. An upper level trough will follow the frontal band with mostly cloudy skies by tonight with the chance of some showers into Tuesday morning. A ridge of high pressure should begin building on Tuesday and strengthen on Wednesday. Good agreement in the models for the ridge to persist into next weekend.

    Trough for early Tuesday, should see a drying trend by Tuesday afternoon.

    High strengthens Wednesday.

    May see some cloud development.

    High dominates with fairly warm temperatures.


    Low from the North begins to push South.

    We might see some cloud on Friday but good chance high will win out.
