A mom and three small cubs have been hanging in the bike park!

One of the cubs was struck by a bicycle the other day, watch out for the bears!! She may get nasty.

At 2240 meters the temperature was 0, winds were 5-15 KPH from the S. At 1550 meters the temperature was +5.5. In the valley it was +10. Observations taken at 07:00 Hrs this AM.

For the forecast we can expect unsettled weather again today as the air mass dries out and begins to stabilise for Saturday as a weak upper ridge builds into our area. The nice weather should continue into Sunday then another slow moving low will enter the area for most of next week. Rain showers are possible for today.

The big picture is not looking very nice, not seeing a weak ridge in this image. Perhaps developing out of Washington State.
