FORECAST:

A weak warm front will push through today with light precipitation developing in a Westerly flow aloft. The freezing level will slowly rise and top out at around 1400 meters. Most of the energy in this frontal band is just North of us, but we will get some snow in the alpine and below tree line. Winds in the alpine will pick up as well. A series of weak frontal bands will continue to push through into Saturday. Hoping the FL will hover in the 1000 meter range from Wednesday into Saturday.  Models are not in agreement as too amounts of precipitation, but going to go with a wider range, in case the European model is more accurate! Guesstimates: 10-20 cm by Tuesday morning, 10-20 by Wednesday morning, 10-20 cm by Thursday morning.

GOES IR image from this am. Moisture is just North of here. Lets hope it slips South.

Low becoming the dominant force for the weak, SW flow on the warmish side for today.

    Fronts along the coast.

High well to the West on Tuesday, with a deepening low.

Low continues to be the dominant force for Wednesday.
