FORECAST:

The persistent Aleutian low will continue to bring cool unsettled conditions for today in a Westerly flow aloft. Drier today with a chance of some isolated showers but mostly cloudy weather with some sunny breaks. Freezing level likely to rise to 2400 m.  Short lived ridge builds in for Tuesday with a mix of sun and cloud, at least it is going to be warmer. Trough pushes in Tuesday evening. The low will continue to send a series of troughs onto the coast Tuesday night into next weekend. Unsettled Wednesday and Thursday with some possible sunny breaks between the carousel of troughs.  As of now the models are agreeing on a good old soaking Thursday night/ Friday (AR Event), time will tell. More unsettled weather for Saturday and Sunday. Juneuary weather will persist into the near future in a nasty cool La Nina pattern. Guesstimates: 0-1 mm by Tuesday am, 2-4 mm by Wednesday am, 2-6 mm by Thursday am, 12-18 mm by Friday am, 15-22 mm by Saturday am, 5-15 mm by Sunday am, 2-6 mm by Monday am.

        Ridging from the SE on Tuesday. Warmer! Looks sunny for most of the day.


      High will usher in a dry sunny day on Tuesday.


      Upper low for Wednesday with unsettled weather.


      Light rain in the am, overcast with sunny breaks during the day, showers in the mix as well.


      Looks dry Thursday morning with overcast skies. Rain on the way in the pm.


      Looks wet Friday.


      Looks wet Saturday, long time from now but same pattern. Might dry out later in the day.

      Low still in control on Sunday.
