Moist low level onshore flow will keep Southern BC mostly cloudy this weekend. The air mass will become warmer early next week. Freezing levels will remain well above the local peaks. There are lots of variations in the models so embrace the uncertainty. Still very dry for this time of the year.

We should see some breaks later this morning into this afternoon. There is a chance of a thundershower later this afternoon. Another low with its centre off Vancouver Island is also creating some weak onshore flow. The blocked atmosphere will remain in our area into early next week with periods of sun, cloud and showers. Still feel we will get most of our precipitation during the evening hours. Sunday is now looking cloudy with Saturday looking like the sunnier dry day in the near future. Conditions will remain unstable and will change quickly.  Freezing levels will be above the local peaks.
