Fracture line in Rock Shot 1 in Lakeside Bowl. 4 meters at crown, maybe bigger. Sz 3 Xy
Avalanche off Blackcomb Peak displaced the Pond Ice.
Natural Sz 3 avalanche off Way Poopy on Phalnax ridge. Many slopes went during the storm.

Locally, AC produced mostly Sz 1, some Sz 2 and a Sz 3. Xe, Xc, Xl.
YESTERDAY:
Nice breaks in the morning. Variable above 1700 m Firm below 1750 m, soft below 1000 meters.

As of 07:00 Hrs we have broken cloud, unlimited visibility and it is snowing very lightly.
FORECAST:
The shortwave trough will continue to bring snow flurries to the area in a Westerly flow aloft, switching to Southwesterly flow later this pm. For today we can expect mostly overcast skies and periodic light snow flurries. We may see the occasional break as well. The freezing level will remain at surface. A warm front will move onshore for tonight with overcast moist conditions for Thursday with the FL slowly creeping up to around 1200 meters. Groundhog day for the next few days with the FL rising as high as 2000 meters on Saturday.The moist warm pattern is with us until Monday when we may see some unsettled weather?
Guesstimates: 4-8 cm by Thursday morning, 2-6 cm by Friday morning, 4-8 cm by Saturday morning.

There were some good turns to be had yesterday despite the variability.

Quick and dirty report from the Duffey. Rohr Ridge skis amazing! Perfect low density pow and generally well consolidated. Rain crust exists on the first 200m above the highway then dissipates. Skied S/SW ish aspects in steep-ish trees with no activity noticed apart from some moderate sluffing . Solid cornice growth on the North side of the ridge and quite a lot of wind affect around ridgeline. ECT yielding no results worth boring you with. We didn't notice much natural activity from the past 24 hours on the terrain we stuck to. Stayed clear of steep North-ish slopes especially those subject to wind loading and probably will again tomorrow!
