I seem to have joined the kingpin toe pin sheared off club. Fell out today while hiking uphill, I was lucky to be able to find it in the snow and was able to make it out with some superglue and duct tape, reattaching the piece every time it fell out. If you are running kingpins in the backcountry be prepared! It can happen anytime you are hiking on them. Make sure you find the toe pin that fell out, otherwise you are screwed.
