FORECAST:

Cool moist weather for this am with an upper low slowly dissipating later today in a Southerly flow aloft. May see some sunny breaks later this afternoon into the evening. Dry unsettled weather continues into Tuesday am, with a mix of sun and cloud. A series of lows with the occasional brief ridge look to be the norm again this week with a high possibly coming Sunday evening into early next week. Guesstimates: trace-2 mm by Tuesday am, 0-trace by Wednesday am, 2-5 mm by Thursday am, 1-3 mm by Friday am, 0-trace by Saturday am, 0 mm by Sunday am.

      Dirty ridge for Saturday with cloudy weather but thats a long time from now!!


      May see some ridging for Sunday but ???.

      07:00 Hrs Wednesday.  Calm on Howe Sound. Looking nicer to the South.



      Wednesday afternoon. High in the valley was +13.9 Deg C.



      Thursday 07:00 Hrs. 




      Friday July 1, 2022. High in the valley was 25 Deg C at 660 m.

     Bernagie Bay, Lake Joe.  Canada Day Sunset.



      Sunday at noon, very wet, high in the valley of 15.9 Deg C.

      As of 07:00 Hrs this am we have high scattered cloud and unlimited visibility.


FORECAST:

High will shift East today with an off shore low taking its place in a South Westerly flow aloft. Mix of sun and cloud with another warm day, freezing level hovering around 4000 meters. Should see some cloud dissipate this evening with more sun than cloud. Looks nice Tuesday morning with cloud increasing as the day progresses. Showers likely by the afternoon with overcast skies. Overcast for Wednesday with some showers. Looking like a mix of sun and cloud Thursday with some convective showers, possible. Friday is a ways off but looking at some models there may be quiet a bit of convective activity with potential for some rain. Weak ridging in some models for Thursday and Friday, but could see some cloud development. Going with a mixed bag on Canada Day. Dirty ridging for Saturday?? Low looks to send more moist weather our way Sunday. Certainly back into an unsettled pattern. Guesstimates: 0 mm by Tuesday am,   1-4 mm by Wednesday am, 1-3 mm by Thursday am, trace-1 mm by Friday am, 1-10 mm by Saturday am, 1-2 mm by Sunday am.

     Tuesday morning, cool moist summer solstice with an upper level trough.

      Tuesday afternoon. Cool and moist.


      Mix of sun and cloud Wednesday. High of 19.9 Deg C at 660 m.


      Thursday morning, mix of sun and cloud. Busy on the Horstman Glacier.

      Thursday afternoon. Bridge being installed.

      High in the valley Friday was +25.7 Deg C.

       Landing into a North Breeze.



       Saturday morning, finally a strong upper level ridge, with a high of 28.7 Deg C at 660 m.


      Still a significant amount of snow on Wedge.


      Cloud to the South Sunday evening. High in the valley Sunday was +31.7 Deg C.
