FORECAST:

Lingering cloud from the upper trough that has pushed through overnight in a South Westerly flow aloft. Mix of sun and cloud for today with cooler temperatures. High pressure builds on Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures. Mix of sun and cloud Wednesday and Thursday with weak upper trough passing by on Friday, may bring some cloud. Ridge appears to strengthen on Saturday with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures. Mix of sun and cloud for Sunday. Overall, a nice looking week. Guesstimates: 0-trace by Tuesday am, 0 mm Tuesday-Sunday. Weather may change before next weekend! Much can happen in 6 days.

      Looks sunny on Friday but some models are suggesting some cloud, time will tell!!

      Another nice looking day on Saturday, hopefully the model is right!

      Wedge Mountain Monday am. Overcast in the am with broken cloud by noon!

     Tuesday evening, very warm in the alpine for the end of August. 

      High in the valley on Wednesday was +33.7 Deg C.

      Beavers are not happy with the drop in the RGD. High in the valley Thursday was  +29.7 Deg C.

      Very hazy Friday evening just before sunset which was at 19:55 Hrs. High in the valley was +33.

      Hazy days of summer. Saturday the high in the valley was +24.7 Deg C.

      Some welcome rain Sunday am. 

       Upper trough pushes through Sunday morning. Interesting word -Petrichor

FORECAST:

Deep trough to the North will bring mostly cloudy skies this am in a Westerly flow aloft. Ridge building from the South should bring some sunny breaks by this afternoon. Ridge strengthens Tuesday with a mix of sun and cloud with warmer temperatures and sunny skies by Wednesday. Low off the coast will likely bring mostly cloudy skies for Thursday, depends on the high so chance of some sunny breaks on Thursday. Ridge should rebuild for Friday with mostly sunny skies. Weak trough expected Saturday am with the chance of some showers. Unsettled by the pm. Sunday at this time is looking unsettled depending on which model run is right. Some models are calling for wet weather Friday into the weekend. Overall looking like a pretty nice week! Guesstimates: 0-trace mm by Tuesday am, 0 mm for Wednesday-Saturday am, 0-trace by Sunday am.

      Above average temperatures quickly melted the remaining snow in Sudan Couloir. Wednesday.

      High in the valley on Wednesday was a record breaking 33.6 Deg C.

      Another awesome day Thursday, high in the valley was +31.9 Deg C.

      Unsettled weather on Friday. 0.0 mm recorded at 660 m. High in the valley was +23.7 Deg C.

     There were some isolated showers in Pemberton Friday.

      Weak upper ridging off the coast, shortwave trough drifting East Saturday am.

       Mostly cloudy by the pm on Sunday. Drought like conditions.
