FORECAST:

A dirty ridge will bring unsettled weather for today in a Northerly flow aloft. Mix of sun and cloud with warm air and inverted temperatures. The FL is presently hovering around surface and will rise as the day progresses. Could go up as high as 2500 m. Low will send cloud for Thursday with a weak upper trough arriving Thursday night into early Friday morning with some showers. Slowly dries out in the am with mostly cloudy skies, sun should come out later in the am. Unsettled for the pm with a mix of sun and cloud. Cold and sunny weather for Saturday. Colder and sunny on Sunday. Guesstimates: 0 cm by Thursday am, 2-4 cm by Friday am, 0 cm by Saturday am, no new snow expected into next week. Looking dry!!

       Arctic frontal boundary will bring early morning showers followed by unsettled weather. 

      Showers in the am, unsettled in the pm Friday.

       Arctic air pushes onto the coast Saturday. Colder temperatures with sunny skies.

      Cold arctic air with sunny dry weather Saturday.

      Cold and dry Sunday, with cold temperatures and sunny skies.

A moist or wet snow surface, pinwheeling and natural avalanches are all indicators of a weakening snowpack.

FORECAST:

Unsettled today with dirty ridging in a Northerly flow aloft. Mostly overcast with a dry airmass, may see a few flurries. The FL is sitting around 1000 m and may rise to 1400 m today.  Warm high pressure strengthens for Wednesday with a mix of sun and cloud, warm air aloft. Surface high gets pushed offshore Thursday with a modified Arctic Front pushing to the coast Friday. A very weak short wave trough brings some light precipitation Thursday night, very quick impulse. The cold arctic air and high will bring sunny skies for Friday. Colder and sunny for Saturday. Sunday is looking cold and unsettled with a mix of sun and cloud. Guesstimates: trace-2 cm by Wednesday am, 0 cm by Thursday am, 1-5 cm by Friday am, 0 cm by Saturday am, 0 cm by Sunday am.
